All true and all lame; #4 is particularly heinous, IMO
Every team is going to have a linebacker spying Taysom. You have to punish them by either putting a receiver close to him so that he has to choose between covering the release guy and picking up Taysom scrambling, or you have to send receivers across him using him as a pick for the guy covering them. But we often (too often) run everything to the outside and leave absolutely no one in the middle of the field.
Ignoring 50+% of the space on the field is freaking stupid anyway, particularly because the receivers running on the outside wind up crowding each other and making the defense's job easier. But it's especially dumb when we don't make defenses pay for leaving a guy in the middle of the field doing nothing but watching the QB.
