Outside receivers: 42
Inside receivers & TE: 18
Running backs: 20
So outside receivers have about half of the catches, and inside receivers and TE split the other half almost 50-50. I think those proportions are pretty good. Like everyone else, I think the main focus moving forward should be throwing the ball downfield more: Mitch Mathews as an outside receiver should not have an average yards per catch under 9. Part of the issue is that defenses know that our guys are almost definitely going to cut off their routes, so they sit on our receivers and keep them from getting YAC. Hopefully as Taysom has had really nice success hitting guys with room to run on scramble plays, that success will breed more success in that area of the game.
