Thanks, Internet Tough Guy,
I was actually supposed to do it all game, but he wised up the second time, much to his credit, and absorbed the blow and then I don't remember trying again the rest of the year. My only reason for posting this was in response to the cheap shot laid on Taysom Hill when he was in high school. I'm just saying I can appreciate what the kid was probably thinking and why he did it. When the wedge is formed, no one on the line is thinking about lining up to tee off on the kicker. He was clearly put up to it by his coach and the thought of hitting a home run off of Taysom was probably too hard to pass off. He probably did not even think it was cheap at the time. Unfortunately for him, and I suppose fortunately for me, he has been lit up on YouTube for this when no such thing existed when I was in high school.

In retrospect, I wish I could have appreciated that for the cheap shot that it was, but when presented to me by my coach, probably like this kid, the coach talked really excitedly saying something like "this is going to be a great opportunity to lay some wood to the guy" and for anyone in football that enjoys contact and laying people out, that sounds like a great idea to a 17 yr. old kid.
