Tell her you regret the incident, wish it hadn't happened, and that you will have a discussion with the vendor about it.

Tell the vendor you don't care or think this was his fault, but ask him to please use the customer bathroom from now on because it will avoid misunderstandings.

Report back to the employee that the vendor has been spoken to and it will not happen again.
