They do give extra consideration for AP classes, but they don't ever re-weight the GPA, it's just part of the overall calculation.

So is the BYU GPA weighted or not? Are AP classes worth 5.0?

AP classes are worth the same as every class no higher than 4.0

I heard they are weighted by how good the H.S. is though.
