There has been nothing junky about my S3. I wonder if she was holding it upside down? My S3 has had things like: a bigger screen, widgets, swype, expandable memory, exchangeable battery, any app that matters, etc.

The iPhone 6 does now have the bigger screen, swype capability, and some widgets, and of course lots of good apps. Hopefully they'll get better memory and battery options next time around.
