Just a thought.
Hopefully this is helpful and doesn't sound argumentative.
It's obvious that you've had a bad experience (probably multiple bad experiences) with a teacher(s). I can understand that frustration and I'm in the same boat that teachers are a mixed bag - there are some good teachers and probably a lot of bad teachers.
However, I'm also a firm believer that you'll catch more flies with honey. Approaching teachers with a more positive attitude would probably help you have a great experience with the good teachers and might even help you shape the experiences with the bad teachers from a purely negative one to a manageable neutral one.
