Teenagers lie constantly... it's a stage of growth
I have never... never seen a teenager say, "gosh. I messed that up. I was wrong."
I guess having a father as a teacher taught me that parents should be very careful about taking their kid's side out of family loyalty. I mean no offense... I just wonder how parents would feel if teachers took the kids side when they tell us the terrible stories about their parents. Believe me... they do.
