Another frustrating year. Looking back over the last 10 years, I have an opinion of what the deal is with Bronco. First, I truly believe Bronco want s a NC. But he wants it his way. Sometimes I think he's out to prove that a college football team does not have to have thugs, illegal payments, etc., to win. He wants a NC by doing the following: football fifth, friday night firesides, shorter practices, using only 1/2 of allotted bowl game practices, down playing every freaking rivalry game, playing walk-on's over 4-star players, promoting "walk-on" coaches to DC positions, acting like fans have no right to be upset for 4 straight losses to the utes, did I miss anything? I'm sure I did, but you get the point. Oh.."the quest for perfection" has nothing to do with won-loss record? seriously? at firesides telling the audience that you "don't care whether you win or loose tomorrow" because in the big scheme it doesn't matter. (yes, that a direct quote!) sticking wiht a gritty 2nd string safety at QB with a broken back!!

So every year we make a splash, and the interviews happen, and he's on the road to proving all the above, then BAM, a no-sho in a game and it all doesn't matter. then fans get irked because it appears that the goal for Bronco is all of the above first and not about winning the game!!

as a fan, I am so sick of all his crap! if he had a couple of undefeated seasons and a couple of BCS bowl wins, then ya, it's all good! I'd love everything he's doing, but he doesn't, and it's not close!

as a fan, he appears to be more dedicated to the above mentioned stuff than winning the game. i.e., football fifth. yes, in the big scheme, football should be fifth. but between august and January, football HAS to be first for all the other stuff to work!

claiming you're doing it the unconventional way means nothing if you're not having the "special" seasons, because YOU ARE NOT doing it the unconventional way. it's not working!!

trying to claim it is working before it actually does is getting the cart ahead of the horse!
