1) While the church values football team wins, it doesn't value them they way you do. Core values of the church trump winning every time. The church wants to win its way (honor code, improving the lives of those in the program, making a difference in the community, firesides, and all of the other stuff you think is less important than football) The church's way does not include things you value more.
2) If Bronco wasn't representing what was wanted in every way by the powers that be, he would already be gone. If you don't like it, stop donating the thousands you so generously donate each year. That will show them.
3)The real question you need to ask is "Since things aren't the way I want them, and they aren't going to change in my lifetime, should I maybe cheer for another team?"
