Even if I were giddy with excitement (which they clearly were) with the talent I had I would be doing my very best poker face to keep expectations in check, which I think influences your coaches and players positively. Especially when it comes to attention to detail... so much in football is simply blocking and tackling. Simple stuff that needs to happen every game and has gotten progressively worse this year.
