I wouldn't say that. His scoring went up from 3.6 to 3.8
and only shot .5 fewer times per game. He'll keep hitting over 50%, but there's no way we're going to see many more attempts. He took 21 fewer shots last year but made almost the same number of them. He's not a guy with moves so his scoring will still come from the offensive boards and quick putbacks, and short J's, if he takes them. Who knows if he'll take them or not.

I think his scoring will be the same this year. We replace Mika with bigs who aren't afraid to shoot, and we'll have plenty of shooting from the guards, especially attempting more 3's. Doesn't leave much Room for Austin to be an offensive guy. He's just going to do this thing again this year. Effort to get the ball and distribute to guys who can score. He did have 12 more assists than the year before so if he can keep passing to shooters, that's fine.

I think we know what to expect from him. It would just be nice if he decided to take more of those shots when he gets it and is wide open. He took those as a soph. If he gets after balls AND takes those shots, that will be good enough. Need him to at least take the shot so he can appear to be a threat.
