BYU as an independent long-term is more of a concern then who the head coach is
that is what my feeling is. Bronco has proven to be that he can put up 8 wins in a bad season and 10 in a good season. that is enough to be relevant to BYU fans. Probably enough to be a fringe top 25 team. But the bigger issue to me is just the ability to continue to put up winning seasons and attract talent as an independent. I basically view us as college football version of the Harlem Globetrotters. Essentially exhibition football once we lose the game we're just there for entertainment. Nothing else to play for. So honestly I feel better about the head coaching situation then I do the relevance associated with being an independent football team
