You're right... but...
I've always found that the "what if" game is always a losing game.

What if Taysom hadn't been hurt? What if 20-some-odd ankle injuries hadn't occurred this year? What if Booker wasn't playing at 100%?

They're all legitimate questions, but when you're in the middle of a three game losing streak these questions seem... disingenuous.

Fact is, Taysom is out for the season, our team is plagued by injuries, we've lost three in a row, Booker is healthy, and the Yewts have been winning. Yes, Yewtah's wins have been far from pretty, and yes, without Booker they would have been decimated (I think I heard that last weekend they only had 69 passing yards). If you argue the "what ifs" with your Yewt friends they'll always be able to fall back on the fact that they don't need to rely on "what ifs" because they've been having all of the breaks go their way.

Now, it is possible that the Yewt fans you're talking to are civil, in which case, they might sympathize with your plight because they know that all it would take would be a sloppy tackle and their offense would be sidelined for the season and they would be lucky to beat anyone from here out (including lowly Colorado).
