This doesn't sound like a guy throwing his players under the bus
A few on here have been very vocal about Bronco and saying he doesn't accept responsibility and is blaming the players. This quote is why I find your interpretation of his comments to be wrong, and more reflective or your angst.

"There’s two parts right now. One is to demand and one is to inspire. You have to do both. Easily, if you haven’t had success, the demand can turn negative pretty fast. But what they don’t need is that happening from us if they’re getting it from other places. We want to ask for more and inspire them to give more. We want them to look forward to being here every day."

Did our coaching staff make mistakes? Undoubtedly. Do they look at what they do and try to improve? No question. Are they always effective in making the necessary changes? Obviously not.

But to say the players don't need to own up to not making plays is ridiculous. At the end of the day, both groups bear responsibility for the wins and the losses. And to say the players aren't executing correctly, when that is true is not throwing them under the buses. Its identifying an area that needs to improve.

Get rid of our turnovers and we are undefeated. And that is players just not executing at the level they personally want to. And just look at the interceptions by Stewart. They went away. That's coaching and the player improving.

Our defense has made great strides before. I'm optimistic they can still do it. We eliminate the turnovers and its a different outcome.
