BYU is a power team. The Utes will always do relatively well against BYU. Might as well get used to it. For this same reason, I think the Utes have a better shot at beating USC & Stanford (power teams) than ASU & Oregon (speed teams). However, when you are talking about midlevel MWC and AAC teams - BYU and Utah should blow them all out based on talent alone.

BYU clearly wanted the 2013 game more than Utah. Did you listen to any of the pregame interviews with players (such as Van Noy)? To pretend that Utah only wins because they get more pumped up against BYU is to place your head firmly in the sand - that is some deep denial.
