Bronco seized on that long ago--it's the BYU Experience. Ute fans don't like that, but it is the truth. The BYU student atmosphere has to be a huge selling point for LDS kids. Utah is a commuter school that does not offer the same atmosphere. USU offers better campus life than Utah does.

For football first kids, BYU is going to lose those to Utah or other P5 schools. And that is what has happened. Our future schedules sort of help with the places BYU gets to go and play, but lack of a comparative conference, it does hurt BYU recruiting. Undeniable.

The fact BYU keeps getting some top LDS kids to come to BYU shows the coaches are recruiting hard though.
