I haven't re-watched the because I'm not that masochistic. But if I remember correctly we were running extremely well and then we just stopped. I'd love to see a breakdown of rushing attempts per quarter, but with or without it I'm still frustrated with the way that Anae always ends up doing stupid things on offense.

I watched the game with some people who normally watch the NFL and who don't really want to follow BYU. They said 3 things to me:

1) The game looked kind of "high school ish" I'm not sure if that's because we had ESPN's C or D team, but it reminded me of watching NIU last year with Jordan Lynch. Every time I watched them it felt like I was watching a DII game. That is what our game felt like.

2) Why isn't BYU running the ball more? They're having success with it why would they stop?

3) BYU is a frustrating team to watch because they were beating themselves.

Why do we do this? Why do we constantly beat ourselves instead of letting inferior teams beat us with opportunistic football? Why do we allow other inferior teams to come back into the game?

I'd be ok with losing to a superior more athletic, better coached team like Oregon, Alabama, Oklahoma, etc... but losing to these inferior teams drives me insane!!!!

BYU is the best team in the country at grasping defeat out of the jaws of victory.
