don't think it's possible to get a refund for the difference. Now that I think of it I'm like 99% sure you can't do it. Important to point out, they have three pricing tiers. I use the cheapest always (believe it's called wanna get away). So I do the second point all the time, but I fly so much I can always use the credits when I reschedule something. Great airline by the way, you don't realize how good they are until you have to fly something else when you go to the NE for example.
