In basketball you can lose to the worst team in the country...

and still play for a national title at the end of the season.

Losses to crappy teams are unacceptable in football. Losses to crappy teams hurt in basketball, but don't end your post-season hopes. Because basketball isn't football.

My "great logic" is common sense.
