I personally don't love using the star system as a metric for a player, but prefer to look at who else has offered in order to see if a player is valued highly by other teams.

Some say that Martzen and co. haven't increased recruiting that much because our class last year was ranked similarly to past classes, but the guys we committed last year had offers from the BEST teams in the nation.

I know this has nothing to do with this terrible season, but I do believe that if we can continue to bring in guys who are being offered by top programs in the country, instead of BYU guys w/ only BYU having offered, then we will begin to see a more consistently competitive team, even when we have injuries to half our starters.
