I did not have a budget anywhere in that ballpark. He hooked me up with in-wall speakers from rbh sound. This is an audiophile quality speaker mfr in Layton.

Speaker boxes are installed before drywall and the actual speakers go in later. They blend into the wall. Looks great. Sounds amazing. No clutter. Pretty affordable--- under $5k for 7.1 setup with dual subs in-wall.
