Utah Technical College (Now UVU), then BYU, then Salt Lake Community College, then the University of West Florida, then Southern Polytechnic State University, then Minnesota State University - Mankato, then Chadron State University, and then American Public University.
Along the way I accumulated one undergraduate certificate of completion, one B.A., and two graduate degrees. And now I'm about to embark on a third graduate degree plus a graduate certificate. Like I said, a long and winding road.
And let us not forget (though I sometimes wish I could) an endless stream of employer-funded training seminars.
There are times I feel conflicted: Am I a Cougar, a Wolverine, a Bruin, an Argonaut, a green and black anthropomorphic hornet named Sting, a Maverick, an Eagle named Elmo, or a Volunteer? But then I get my senses back and realize I will always be a Cougar. The rest are just imposters.
I'm sure a lot of you have more interesting education tracks than mine. I'd be interested to hear about your own long and winding education road.
