*Just me and my wife
*Neither of us have been anywhere in Mexico or the Caribbean before, so even if it's mainstream it'd be new to us
*Week after Christmas would be the timing
*Would want a relatively short flight given the time constraints. Want to maximize warmth time.
*Need to maximize warmth b/c we live in Minnesota

Searched some old CB threads and looks like Cancun, Cozumel, Playa Del Carmen are some favorite options of CB-ers. Any other suggestions?

Will look into a cruise from Galveston, but would prefer more time there and less time traveling/sailing so thinking perhaps an all-inclusive.

Super early in research, and basically just thinking about doing a trip while we'd have grandparents in Houston to watch some kids. Open to any ideas of places you'll loved!
