Got cut from his sophomore basketball team and his mom wouldn't let him play football, so he tried out for baseball. Had never played, didn't own a glove, held a bat crossed handed at first. The kid was raw.

Now he is playing center field in the World Series.

Last year he completely changed his running form to help him avoid injury.

Sounds like he is a product of hard work and dedication.
