Not taking away from the Ute wins, because a win is a win. Not excusing BYU losses, because you only lose because of a single play when you put yourself in the position to lose by one play.

The point of the post is to recognize that the margin is very thin, and that BYU and Utah are playing right on the edges. My reading of CB during the past week or so has been that people think that BYU is playing at the level of Idaho State right now, while Utah is playing at a Florida State level.

And during FT Utah only scored one offensive TD. I know they scored two more during OT and 2OT, but I was talking during FT (just wasn't clear about it).
