Bronco had zero.
Comparing Bronco to Lavell is ridiculous. There are a few big differences. None bigger than the fact that Lavell had 5 zero or one loss seasons. And he had to build a program for 6-7 years before he could even hope to get to that point.
Bronco walked into some problems, to be sure. But he was also handed the keys to a national brand, a 65,000 stadium, an indoor practice facility, a cadre of 3-4 star recruits, and a nationwide fanbase.
The Bronco lovers on CB have a hard time remembering all the good things that Bronco was handed. There is a reason he had 4 ranked seasons in his first 5 years, almost exclusively with players that joined the program under another head coach.
