BYU has always lived and died by their QB's and in the latter half of the 90's (after Sark) we didn't have a very strong QB (some liked Feterik, he was decent I thought), until Doman. We had a short stretch after Bosco left where we didn't have a strong QB either (Bobby Jensen was terrible, Sean Covey was decent) for several seasons until Ty Detmer. It happens like that.
