Here's the one thing I didn't like about the Governor's storyline. He meets up with Lilly and her family. And they're hanging out in a pretty safe place with lots of food. Her dad's dying of cancer, yes, but other than that, they've got it better than basically anyone else who is alive right now. And they all decide to follow the Governor out on the road? At one point she says to him something along the lines of "anywhere has to be better than this place?" Are you kidding? No, you're wrong; there's nowhere out there that's better than that place. If you have a safe enclosed space with lots of food, you have it better than pretty much anyone else in the world.
I guess she was falling in love with the Governor and that would make her do weird things. But as soon as they found themselves dodging walkers and going to war over a prison you'd think she'd be saying "time to go back to the safe, well-stocked apartment I just left."
