And that fine if you want use R as your cutoff,
but there are a lot of movies out there that I find of value based on content that are also rated R. Off the top of my head, some of my favorite movies include Shawshank Redemption, Into the Wild, Blackhawk down, Kung Fu Hustle, The Matrix, Passion of the Christ. These movies are all Rated R and are much more fulfilling and less raunchy (admittedly in my opinion), than something like Airplane or Ferris Bueller's Day off (PG and PG-13).
I don't know anything about the movie he's talking about but to act like the MPAA is the end all, be all is shortsighted.
