The 2 deep was pretty weak to begin with

That was the Toby Christensen, Hale, Coats, Wilkerson era. Berry had twice as many picks as TDs. Brathwaite was the leading rusher. The Oline was a train wreck. I think this is what it looked like:

Freshman Eddie Keele
Senior Scott Jackson
Freshman Jake Kuresa
Freshman Ofa Mohetau
Senior Brandon Stephens

I can't imagine how they couldn't win with that protection;)
