When I say "He is a Ute" I'm not saying he's a jerk and we shouldn't hire former Utes. I'm saying that he may be happy there and may not want to return to BYU. He has been a Ute longer than he has been a Cougar.

If Sitake truly desires to be a head coach, and if he is a strong candidate, he will get offers from other schools as well; probably P5 schools.

Then again, Derrick knows Kalani. Maybe Kalani is just hoping and praying that the BYU head coach job opens up and he gets to take his dream job at BYU.
