I tried metromile and it just didn't work at all. Locations were inaccurate, trips were incomplete, etc. So I bought a $18 bafx bluetooth obd2 dongle so I could try Dash.by as well as Throttle. Dash.by seems to connect and work really well, but it disconnects randomly while driving and the app just loses all the previous trip data when that happens. I'm not sure if it's the car, the dongle or my phone that is at fault, but in any case, the app doesn't handle it well. Anyone else used this?
