Defensive linemen in the pipeline:
Travis Tuiloma-Currently playing the best defense on the team IMO
Sione Takitaki-DE/MLB/OLB hybrid who tore it up as a DE/LB in high school
Troy Hinds-4* DE/LB (would be a defensive end in a 4-3 IMO)
Isaiah Nacua-4* DE our highest ranked player from last year's class according to ESPN's recruiting website
Tico Fuga-3*DT-brother to one of our best DT's ever under bronco
Uriah Leiatua-3* DE-Former Stanford commit
Zac Dawe-3*DE-State champion in wrestling, and a man among boys on the line
Tevita Mounga 3* DT-Big get from Cali offers from half the Pac-12
Devin Kaufusi 3* DE
That is an insane amount of D-line talent that I believe would not be utilized to it's fullest in a 3-4 D. Then you add in the insane amount of LB talent that Sitake could rotate in in the coming years, not to mention a few really good DB's that have committed, and I think you'd have a great defense.
I'll finish with saying that when Bronco is the D-coordinator, we have at least one stud DT who can hold the line, and have 2-4 experienced/talented LBers I love the 3-4 defense. I really enjoy seeing our LBers fly around the field when they know what they're doing, can get a good pash rush, and know how to wrap up an opposing player.
