Bronco has been learning on the job for 10 years.....
and he still hasn't found solid footing. People need to look at that. A decade, and he still is in the mode where he takes one step forward and two steps back. That type of progress doesn't get you anywhere.

He does not understand how to be a head coach. He is and will always be better suited as a defensive coordinator.

People will flame me for this, but KWhitt has enough pull to get Dennis Erickson, Norm Chow, Dave Christensen and others to come to his program because they have "elite" college and NFL level experience. The comment about who he has been able to pull in to the program and help is telling. Mostly homegrown, mostly unproven, mostly mediocre. Bronco is the one star among the coaching staff and unfortunately he is in the wrong roll to find success.

The inability to make changes in-game has been frustrating against lesser competition. UCF and Nevada coaches made changes at halftime or on the fly and they made the difference in both games.
