I saw the "John Wick" movie last night (no spoilers)
My family was all gone in different directions last night and I needed to stay up late to pick up my teenager from a school thing. So I went to see John Wick by myself in a theater that was mostly empty.

My impressions:

1. Wow that movie was violent and had plenty instances of "that" word. I don't think I've ever seen more people being shot in the head than in this movie.

2. No plot really at all and no character development. I pretty much knew how the movie would go and how it would end.

3. Theon Greyjoy in John Wick, eh? Cool.

4. Despite #1 and #2, I enjoyed the movie overall. It was very cool and stylish throughout the entire movie. Great choreographed fight scenes - it was enjoyable to watch even though I knew who would "win" most fights. My wife would have hated it, and would be inappropriate for my kids, but it was a fun way to spend a couple of hours last night. Keanu Reeves was a great fit for that character.

5. I want to stay at that hotel in the movie.
