I would like Doman to be part of next staff again
After listening to him now for... Who knows if Doman wanted to play TH earlier or Lark or if BM vetoed that... It would seem that most likely BM intervened in teh QB situation..but he might not have.

4. No help at WR/TE? Doman's offenses had no weapons on teh outside either... Mckay couldn;t catch, Hoff wouldn;t work out in teh off season adn came into fall out of shape,,,APO was the next opit awhile I see a huge disconnect with his knowledge nad what I saw on the field at BYU. I don't understand what exactly went wrong, but I do know these few things.
1. Domans offenses had no o line.. Our oline was TERRIBLE when he took over..
2. Doman had no RB's, none. to take pressure off of his QB's...so no run game to be respected by opponents..

3. Doman had Riley broken back Nelson to make up for those inadequacies, but who was not a true D1 caliber QB
Whether Doman wanted Riley or heaps or Hill or Lark is still a mystery. Clues seem to indicate that BM intervened and had Riley be teh guy, but that is unconfirmed.

4. Doman had no weaapons on the outside. No TE's, only Jacobson who was going through stuff and couldn;t catch and had slowed down.. Hoffman was teh number one WR and he came into fall out of shaoe because hewouldn;t work out in teh summer.

The number two/three option was Apo, who even currently is pretty much a bust..SO IOW Doman had no line, no rb,no receivers, and a QB who was a safety playing QB with a broken back... Now THAT or THOSE are reasons for an OC not being successful.

Quite frankly if you look at what Doman did..It's a miracle our offenses were as good as they were and won the games we won.
