I don't agree with any of your thresholds, but if the money flowing into the athletic department dries up because the football team stops being a product boosters value, nothing can save the football staff. Rose is in the same boat. He is much loved and has done a great job building a nationally recognized basketball brand, but at this level ($) of college sports, you have to deliver consistently.
