No but there's a difference between being able to advance, and having your only
coaching experience at the college level be BYU and from being a grad assistant.

Again, look at how P5 teams, even middling ones, hire out their core HC, DC, OC positions and even such as OL, QB Coach, DL coaches, DB coaches, etc.

See USU is a "training coach" school. SDSU is a "training coach" school. BYU shouldn't be a "training coach" school. We should allow other programs to expend their resources and risk "training" competent coaches, and then BYU hires them as proven talents.
