I was reading things on the board - had not yet seen the article so I Googled for it. This article came up first. I actually feel it was unfortunate that it was that but when I read it I honed in on his stats from the 1996 season after hearing someone mention he was taking credit for building the athletic facilities.

I didn't mean for it to be disparaging of him even though it unfortunately is of his own doing. Someone else then pointed out that his open letter also contains his mug shot from his arrest as his by line photo which means he isn't running from it either...it is part of who he is/has been for better or worse. The fact that there isn't more arrest photos or articles like that makes it seem like at least he cleared that part up as he got older which is commendable - and also stands separate in my mind from his current opinion he is offering...
