Losing was expected, not showing up is unacceptable
I'm not a "fire the head coach" guy, because I think that doesn't help as much as it hurts, but BM is asking to be fired. This team showed up like they were looking forward to going home. You don't give up 41 points to any team in the 1st half. They were down 10-0 after 1, and then gave up 31 in the 2nd to make sure their fans knew it was over. The rest of the game was a wash, because you were already down by 31 points and had no spark whatsoever.

Why should fans bother with a team that can't be bothered? I'm sure the players are not throwing away their college careers, so it's all on the coaching. Any time a team doesn't show up, it's the coach. BYU was committing way too many penalties even during the Hopeful Period of the season, which is on the coaches. Without Taysom Hill, this team would have a losing record in the MWC. The Texas win was fool's gold, making us think we had a team worthy of national respect.

I haven't thought that BM was a Big 12 coach. Now I don't think he is a MWC coach. The past 5 years have been a exercise in making mediocrity look good. Now the team is worse than bad, it's apathetic.
