My son doesn't understand why BYU is so horrible. He knows that BYU has had some decent success historically because he's heard about it all his life. But he's never experienced it. Think about it, since he was 6 BYU has really done nothing. He doesn't get why UU beats us every year and he has to face his UU friends every year with the same feeling of disappointment. He doesn't get why BYU doesn't just lose but loses to losers and gets blown out. I'm having a hard time keeping him a fan because he just doesn't see anything to get excited about (the Texas games last year and this year proved to be false alarms). His BYU experience is totally different than mine. Granted, I was a freshman at BYU in 1984. But as a junior high kid I saw some great BYU teams. When is he going to see one? Bronco, you are losing an entire generation of fans.
