National championship, state Championships, two undefeated seasons, wanting in the Big12, calling out Utah for not playing us, learning from losing, never losing out on an in-state recruit again, calling out fans for leaving early etc., etc. Am I forgetting anything?

When have any of these come to fruition? Never and they never will. He set the bar and has failed miserably to fulfill anything that he has talked about. On the flip side, he does recruit nice, well-mannered young men who will be great people for the rest of their lives (for the most part). Kudos to him for that and I do mean that. They represent well off the field. I'm not suggesting that we go with Paul Hornung's logic and recruit criminals, but I am suggesting that he stop talking and setting us all up for failure based upon his hollow and cheap talk.

It has all come back to bite him and us so hard in the rear end.
