You can say we are young and inexperienced, but you better be saying that we are learning and getting better each game...and it better show on the field.

Instead we are not seeing any improvement game to game. In fact, it is getting worse.

That was Gary's go-to line as well. There was no improvement week to week though and pretty soon the words rang hollow, because even a Freshman by the time they get to the back half of the season has experience and should be growing as a player.
