Interesting conversation on Bama radio today.....
Talked about fans having unrealistic expectations for their team to go undefeated in college football in this day and age. Said too many good players has created so much parity at each level that even teams to perceived to have "soft" schedules still face uphill battles because of the amount of film teams have access to. Further in the season you go the more unlikely it is. One or two loss season should be considered a very good season.

Said it takes a very magical season to do it (ie, Auburn magic tip and :01 return and unknown expectations of Winston last year were great examples).

HOWEVER....It is completely realistic to think a coach should improve a team year after year at every level. Record my not represent growth but execution and ability to create opportunities should be there. Hear is the real dagger. They used Utah as the great example. Said the team is in contention to potentially win the PAC-12. It has taken a couple years but players are getting better and coaching is improving the quality of play on the field. Said they are taking advantage of being in PAC-12. I think Jerry Kill at Minn is another great example. Has taken a team and year in and year out and improved the team.

This is where I truly believe Bronco has failed. Say what you want but he has a great point. Whit makes boneheaded coaching moves but the team is starting to roll. BYU is the worse team in Utah and we have no direction going forward. We pray that Taysom comes back to hopefully salvage next season and maybe make something happen but what if he says no? Then what? Bronco is on record saying he has not done a good job in preparing the team for the "what if" scenarios. Who runs this team next year with no Taysom?

On a side note because I'm watching the game? What in the world is a team that is Blue and Orange wearing a uniform that is Silver and Gray? Horrible choice for Illinois.
