All joking aside I don't like firesides. It's an unnecessary distraction and also BYU Football is in the business to play football, when the team is struggling their fireside messages won't be as effective, let's be honest. I'm not saying it's right, but it's true. There needs to be a separation of church and football so that one doesn't negatively effect another. If Bronco or a player gets up and gives a great spiritual talk, that's great but if it's after 4 losses it'll fall on def ears.
