1) He had the team get on busses, drive up the canyon, and then proceeded to have a bon fire with the uniforms, saying that he was tired of not looking like and not playing like BYU. And 2) he had the night at the stadium where he had the players all go lay out on the grass as he played clips from some of the great highlights of BYU in the past, and he used this to begin emphasizing "tradition." He needs to do those two things again. We are not Oregon, and we shouldn't have different uniforms basically every time we play at LES. I know that a lot of people love blackout games and whatnot, but I don't for the simple fact that it isn't BYU. The only exception to this rule should be the occasional use of Royal jerseys and white pants on special occasions. BYU needs to look like and play like BYU. While the "spirit and honor" parts are important, so is the "tradition." We've gotten away from that and I think it's time we returned to it.
