They beat 2 weak teams (isu, Fresno) and a bad Michigan team in non conference.
They have played 3 Pac games that all three could have gone either way...they lose one and win two.....could be 3 wins or 3 losses just as easily. These teams were WSU, osu, and UCLA...UCLA is ranked, but they have 2 losses and beat Colorado in OT today.
Needless to say Utah has not been beating up on the best Pac teams thus far. They are switching qb's every game and are a one dimensional offense with Booker. If Booker goes down they are done.
With that being said, they are playing at a thousand times higher level than BYU. They would crush us right now. They also have a solid front seven and all American punter and kicker that will give them field position and points off long field goals. This should keep them in most games as long as Booker is getting his 150-200 yards. They are set up very well to do some some damage this year in the Pac, but they are also set up to have a great fall...their fan base is a little inflated right now based off some average Pac wins (especially with the demise of BYU) and let's hope for a TCU like performance from USC tonight and pop the bubble growing over Salt Lake City.

Even if they lose every game from here on out I would still rather be in their position in the Pac and they really have passed us up.
