Bronco's Coordinator Selections are a glaring weakness
To see how far we've fallen...when Crowton replaced Ken Schmidt for DC he chose between two proven veterans, Bronco and KWhitt. I can only ask myself how ever did we end up with Howell?

Amongst Bronco's greatest weaknesses is his track record of promoting position coaches to coordinator. He has done this with every single hire from Anae (promoted from O-Line coach), to Hill, to Doman to Howell. All of these guys appeared to be serviceable position coaches, yet not a single one of them is a proven and tested coordinator anywhere near what Bronco and KWhitt were when they were recruited to BYU. And Doman and Howell, who both proved to be way out of their leagues, were both given their first coaching positions by Mendenhall. From a staffing perspective, Bronco's track record of going small-time has been incredibly disappointing.

Hire talent into these positions!
