If we were in a Big 5 conference there would be hope. We are not and it was necessary to get it done this year on the field. SEC and ACC have deemed us not worthy. I personally believe we blew things a few years ago with the big 12. I don't see much hope at this point. We should have begged the big 12 years ago - now we need to start bribing them or relegate football to FCS.
